After his lacklustre 2007 season most thought Tom would turn his attention to ALMS or similar, especially now Neal has been confirmed alongside champ Gio for '08. However Tom's recent comments in Autosport indicate he's set to carry on driving on these shores next year, either with a "3rd manufacturer" or with another team given that he has a big sponsor behind him. Word is Arena are building some S2000 Ford Focuses, and if true they wouldn't be making that investment unless there was serious budget behind the project - either works backing or serious sponsor (/Rich Daddy) cash. The suggestion is Tom might team up with his younger brother Max, who hasn't exactly been stunning in single-seaters thus far in his career. Maybe he'll feel better with a roof over his head.
