Onslow-Cole to Vauxhall confirmed?

http://www.sundaylife.co.uk/sport/article3294069.ece

However, Turkington will have to get used to a new team-mate in 2008. Former Renault Clio champion Tom Onslow-Cole has moved on to join Vauxhall where he will drive the team's third Vectra next season.

"I think Tom struggled a little bit with the BMW and wanted to get back to front-wheel-drive again," adds Turkington. "I have no idea who will be joining me at WSR ? nothing has been said so far."

BTCC 2007 Review DVD problems

The release date has been postponed numerous times, but it seems as though online retailers are starting to ship out copies of the 2007 BTCC DVD today. Some are already in the shops; I managed to pick up a copy from HMV today. But there's a rather large fault in the copy I purchased... despite the discs saying "Disc 1" and "Disc 2" (see photo) they both actually contain the disc 2 content (i.e. the second half of the season). Hopefully this hasn't been replicated in any other copies, but I'll wait and see what Duke have to say about it...

Update: Haven't got round to calling Duke yet (damn real life in the way) but other forum posts are saying the same thing. Hold off until Jan 14th...

You have been banned for the following reason: None

After posting links to those Motorbase BMW pics on btcc.net/forum I'm now apparently permanently banned. They did at first remove the "offending" post (which contained only links to images hosted on btcc.net), and then the entire thread (which I didn't start). Ah well, Vive la Free Speech.

Motorbase BMWs

This is what happens when you have a day off work and waste time digging around btcc.net. These would be the cars bought off Schnitzer as was reported around Macau time presumably. Announcement expected later this week. Suspicions were raised when Motorbase changed their own website to include a Motorbase-branded Beemer on the header.

Bought one Lacetti from Denmark, with an option on the second... roughly translated from http://www.dtc-net.dk/

"When we bought Chevrolet's 2007-cars we did it straight ahead almost on the British team Robertshaw Racing.

Ray Mallock referred them saw to us where they have bought one car from our cars, while they have reserved the other", Kent reports Bo Steffensen.

Robertshaw Racing participated in chosen department of British Touring Car Championship with a Honda Integra, who was driven off Alan Taylor, England.
